Alex Holland, M.Ac., L.Ac., President, Academic Dean, Admissions, graduated from the Northwest Institute of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NIAOM) in 1985 and did clinical training in Chongqing, China, in 1985. He was the Academic Dean of NIAOM from 1992 to 1996 and is currently the President and co-founder of the Asian Institute. He is a faculty member with Andrew Weil's Program in Integrative Medicine at the University of Arizona and is a Commissioner for the Accreditation Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. Alex has taught extensively and is the author of Voices of Qi — An Introductory Guide to Traditional Chinese Medicine

Linda Joy Stone, M.S., L.Ac., Dipl.Ac. (NCCAOM), Registrar. Co-owner of the Asian Institute, Linda graduated from South Baylo University in 1989 and did post-graduate studies at the Beijing Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Linda is in private practice at Southwest Integrative Healthcare and practices part time at the University of Arizona Campus Health Services.

Keith Zabik, M.Ac., L.Ac., Dipl.Ac, (NCCAOM), Financial Aid Administrator, earned his Master of Acupuncture degree from the Asian Institute of Medical Studies in 2006. His background in engineering, management, energetic healing, athletics, and vegetarian health provide a solid foundation for his private acupuncture practice at Tucson Community Acupuncture, his practice with Sunstone Healing Center and the services he provides as the Registrar at AIMS.

David Price, M.O.M., L.Ac., Clinic Dean, is a graduate of the International Institute of Chinese Medicine with advanced studies at Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in the Peoples’ Republic of China. He is the Director of the White Pine Clinic of Classical Chinese Therapeutics in Tucson. He is fluent in Mandarin and Japanese and has been an instructor at the Asian Institute for over seven years.

Cathy Adelman, R.N., M.Ac., L.Ac., Clinic Director, is a graduate of the Asian Institute and has been a practicing nurse for nearly 30 years. She is currently participating in the Asian Institute’s Residency Program for new graduates and is opening her private practice in Tucson in early 2010.

Margaret Gragg, BFA, Administrator, has a Bachelors in Fine Arts from Miami University and is an experienced Office Manager, worked for Habitat for Humanity and has utilized her design skills for historic home restoration.

June Timmins, Business Manager, is an accountant and oversees the daily financial operations at the Asian Institute.
